Design Travel by Julie ("we," "us," or "Julie") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect information you choose to give us directly — for example, when you call or email us to ask about a trip, you may share your name, contact information, and details about your travel plans and preferences. You can also send an inquiry through the contact form on this site. The form collects the details you choose to enter (such as your name, email address, phone number, trip interest, approximate travel dates, number of travelers, and message). Form submissions are processed by Jotform, a third-party online form service, and delivered to Julie; Jotform handles that data under its own privacy policy. Information also reaches us when you call or email.
Like most websites, our web hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information for every visit — such as IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages requested — as a normal part of running and securing the site. We do not currently use a separate website analytics tool.
If we add a website analytics tool in the future, this policy will be updated to describe it before it goes live.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you share with us to respond to your inquiry, plan and book travel on your behalf, and communicate with you about your trip before, during, and after travel. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing Information with Travel Partners
Planning a trip often requires sharing relevant details — such as names and travel dates — with the hotels, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, and other travel suppliers involved in your itinerary. We share only what is necessary to arrange and confirm your travel, and we work with reputable, established partners, including those available through our Virtuoso affiliation.
Cookies and Website Analytics
This site does not currently use cookies for advertising or tracking, and no website analytics tool is installed. The only automatic data collection is the standard server/hosting log described above.
Data Retention
We retain client and travel-planning information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain accurate records, and meet any applicable legal or accounting obligations.
Your Choices
You may ask us at any time what information we have on file for you, request a correction, or ask us to delete information we no longer need to retain. Contact us using the details below.
Children's Privacy
This website is intended for adults planning travel and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
